If you had the attention to send flowers and there was no reaction on her side, then let her go, it doesn't matter how much you like her you will appreciate your self for doing so. I did the same thing and she was not interest, it really hurt my feelings but she was the one who missed out. Go find a nice woman some where else there are good women around!!

I would give to their choice of charities and maybe send a small arrangement with a note of the charity of sponsored.

Reply:Yes, anonymous stuff can get you somewhere. I sent my hubby one single pink rose when I first met him - anonymously - even though he already had a girlfriend. When I called him later that night to ask if he received it, he was really surprised that it was from me (he had already called the girlfriend and found out it wasn't from her). They ended up breaking up and then we got together. The rose didn't break them up - their relationship was already rocky %26amp; he had been considering ending it when I sent him the rose. And now we've been married 5 years!!

Reply:What about gerbera daisies? Those are informal but very pretty. I wouldn't do roses, myself. You could also do a small mixed arrangement - lots of different colors (as opposed to a bouquet of one color of roses) keeps things informal, too.

give them all her info...school address, what class and room she will be in (if you can find it out)..and they will deliver it.



since it's a college, and i'm guessing that it's pretty big, i would suggest that you call the school ahead of time and request that someone bring them in to her classroom...since it's valentines day i'm sure that a bunch of people are requesting this, so make sure you call earlier and make some type of an arrangement....otherwise they may just keep them in the office and have her pick them up after class.

A red stuffed dog w/ card and money in it. A caramel stuffed dog, wit a bow in it, in the bow I wrote a poem, and in that poem there was a piece of a heart-shaped chocolate. Also, to balance everything, I attached some roses.

I think you should go with both, in school, we had that, and I sent them to a bunch of my friends, it's the thought. I wouldn't say "be my valentine" though, I would say something like "thinking of you, hope you have a great Valentines day" something simple, I mean she already knows you like her... so go for it. I think it's a very cute idea, and I think that she would enjoy it very much. Ok, I’ve been thinking about giving one of my college professors a bouquet of flowers. I found this really nice poem by one of her favorite authors that would fit nicely on the card as well. I’m very attracted to her and I know it could never really work considering she’s a teacher and I’m her student, however, I still feel inclined to do something nice. I guess just to make her feel good and perhaps to see her reaction.

Then I was thinking that if she somehow thought it was me and wanted to talk privately about it, then I would probably go ahead and confess to her, but I worry that the gesture may come off as being creepy or like I’m sucking up to her, which is not my intention at all.

My dad died in Sept of 98, and until his death he used to bring her flowers all the time - she loves fresh flowers of all kinds! I try and remember to bring her flowers on her birthday in memory of my dad... but I know if he's looking down from heaven, he'd love to see her receive flowers from someone else, knowing that in a real roundabout way, they were inspired by him. Her favorites are anything purple - her favorite color.

Reply:I agree with what the first person said, however as someone who lost my father, my brother and my mother all within 8 months' time, I can tell you how it feels to be the relative of the person who died. Not only have I also worked in a nursing home, but my father died in one. It meant so much to my family to receive a card of sympathy from the people who helped care for my Dad. The nursing home he was in did not include the small note card that usually accompanies flowers. They took the time to write out a heartfelt card, much like the first person who answered suggested. They then had the florist deliver the flowers with the card they picked out. It was heartfelt, sincere, and it meant so much to me and my family, to see such kind and touching words expressed to us about the man we loved and cared about so very much.

First of all, if you're paying $100 for carnations, you're being ripped off! For that price, you should be able to get a nice dozen roses sent to her! I don't know the girl that you're talking about, but I always liked roses (it doesn't have to be a dozen--just nicely arranged.) Chocolates are even better though, along with a cute card that will make me smile. I had a boyfriend that sent me a teddy bear for my birthday, which was really cute--I kept the teddy bear longer than the boyfriend though! Jewelry is a little too much unless you're already going out. Think about what SHE likes and make the gift personal. If you're still interested in this girl, then you want to try thinking about what she would want and how to make her feel special. Don't spend a fortune on her, but instead just focus on making her feel like she's lucky.

Well.. Like it says.. I like this girl.. It's been about a year.. We were together for a bit and then we went seperate ways.. But I still feel for her.. I would say it's love, but I just want to tell her with a special present.. I was thinking jewelry, but I thought flowers would be good too.. I am not sure yet, but .. If I am going to send flowers.. I'd really like to know what kind of flowers I should be sending her to send a message saying I still care.. I was thinking about roses.. But it seems each color or quantity makes a big difference.. And I have no clue what to do.. Hopefully you guys can help.. And hopefully the ladies can give some tips...

Reply:Honestly, it doesn't really matter what type of flowers you send. If you know what her favorites are, send those. I would recommend Gerber Daisies. They come in a variety of colors and they're long stem-ed which is always romantic. And if you're not sure about the 'love' thing, it's a great way to say 'I like you a lot'. Good luck.

Get her something different like dahlias or something, Bright colors always makes someone feel good so If you can find any flower in bright pinks or blues go for them. And always go for a dozen. Ask the florist for any kind of flower that are large, bright and uncommon. That way you′ll stick out from the rest.

I was about to send some roses to my girl to her house on valentine's day but then i found out you could also send her roses in school. I wanna surprise her with flowers but do you think it's kinda too surprising when a girl gets flowers in her school?

Sure! Just write on the note "To a great friend" so she does not get the wrong idea - don't send red roses, if you want to do roses, make them yellow or white - I'm sure you will make her day, a small gift or chocolates would also be fine, just nothing extavagant. Great idea!
