Men do you ever send flowers?

My wife gets suspisious every time i bring home flowers, do you have the same problem, have you ever got into trouble for giving flowers not on a special day or forgetting a special day or both? any suggestions

It's too bad that some women will constantly read a negative meaning into things that their men do.



But flowers -- wow, I think that most women would LOVE to get flowers from their husbands.



If I were you, I'd call her on it. I'd tell her something like, "Most women would love to get flowers from their husbands, but when I try to do something nice for you, you automatically think there's some ulterior motive behind it. Unbelievable."



You're trying to be ultra-nice to her, and she's being paranoid about it and turning it into a negative. If I were you, I'd file that under the "unacceptable" category.

Reply:No I've never "got into trouble" for giving flowers. I'm a hopeless romantic though, so if I'm not sending flowers I'm doing something else. While the flowers would still be a surprise, it isn't so out of character for me that it would raise suspicion.



My advice would be to just tell her you were thinking of her and wanted to find a special way to let her know that. If she can't trust you and believe that then you have more serious issues than flowers!

Reply:Men do send flowers. Unfortunately, they only think it's necessary when they did something wrong or they forgot about a special day for you. Most of them think it's a waste of money because they end up dying anyway. But there are a few out there that do in fact send them to make you feel special and important. It's just rare.
