How do most girls feel about receiving flowers?

After 1 crazy-good date last week, I sent some flowers to her work. Are flowers over rated? What goes through a girls head when she receives flowers?
How do most girls feel about receiving flowers?
I love flowers. I love to receive flowers, I love to buy flowers for myself and my home, I love to grow flowers.

I think that it is sweet for you to purchase flowers for your date. I used to prefer to receive plants from dates, over flowers, because the plants last so much longer; but when you break up with a person, you still have the plant for years after the relationship ended and every time you water it, you think of them. Sometimes you just want to throw it out of the window or dump it onto the person's front porch, spreading all of the dirt over their windows b/c they are such a jerk. Sorry, what was the question?
Reply:i love to recieve flowers !
Reply:When a guy spends the time and money to send flowers, it shows they really care. I don't think it is over-rated at all, it's quite the opposite, not many men send flowers anymore.

You did a good thing sending her flowers, I hope she had as good a time as you did on your date.

Good luck, hope all works out for you.
Reply:we love flowers....good going
Reply:girls like to receive flowers. especially while at work.
Reply:most gurls love getting flowers. but if you do it to much then they might tend to get a little freaked out by all flowers they're getting. and you dont wanna scare them away do you
Reply:they feel... another idiot trying to woo ...
Reply:I love getting flowers. Especially when they are sent for no other reason that to let me know you are thinking about me and you miss me.
Reply:she feels loved, she feels u went thru thr hassle to get that fro her ... and hence she feels special. she feels delicate, like a woman and ..... hmmm she just feels good in general
Reply:My bf picks or buys flowers for me all the time. I think that is so sweet! A reminder of his feelings! Flowers smell so good too! My mom always says she rather get flowers when shes alive!
Reply:I enjoy flowers even though they don't last its the thought behind the flowers. I especially love roses, orchids and gardenias. I dint believe flowers are over rated its a beautiful gesture. Usually the girl is happy and especially since you sent them to her place of work
Reply:I like flowers, they are the traditional sign for wooing in this country. Who cares if they eventually die.. for at least one whole week they sit on my coffee table, desk, night stand or dinner table and look gorgeous, reminding me that someone out there thought enough of me to buy them for me. Of course actually being all that you need to be in the relationship will always be the key that makes or breaks it.
Reply:I love receiving flowers, unless it is because you screwed up. Flowers are not over rated they are simple and sweet
Reply:oh how sweet, he must be a romantic, wow, etc.

(About a week later, thou they think, damn they're wilting I wish it was chocolate;)
Reply:well i aint no girl but women love it
Reply:flowers are a nice gesture, they are sweet for the most part(unless being used to make up for a screw up on the senders part) but in actuality flowers are a little of a let down, you get them and they are pretty and live, then they wilt and die over a short period and you are disappointed in that(you know it is gonna happen, but you are still sad when it does.)
Reply:I love getting flowers. I don't get them very often, but it's so special to receive them for no particular reason or occassion.
Reply:Personally I don't like flowers this is because I hate it when they die and are gone
Reply:she'll love it.roses are the best.
Reply:mine:thats awesome, some one cares and has put effort in

...

little while later%26lt;i'd think%26gt; i wonder if i could paint that so it would last longer
Reply:Flowers are sweet. As long as it isn't for trying to correct a wrong, then right on! Flowers show that you are thinking about her. Plus, its the tiny things that you do that she will notice and appreciate.
Reply:In my long and wierd life I've learnt 2 things,

1. flowers always inpress women, regardless of what they say.

Don't try and use flowers to apologise for something: it will make her think you've done something wrong when you next buy her flowers.

Don't limit buying flowers to once a year, if you think she's beautiful doesn't she deserve to have beautiful things around her? A bunch of flowers every month costs virtually nothing and will bank you soooo many brownie points!

2. The only way to improve on buying her flowers is buying them and having them delivered to where she works: she feels special because you've sent her flowers and brightened up her day PLUS she'll be the talk of the office because all her work friends see that you've sent her flowers for no other reason than you love her.
Reply:love flowers especially when they sent for no special reason to many guys just send them on birthdays anniversaries or when they done something wrong
Reply:every lady loves to receive flowers but there isnt many gentlemen left WELL DONE
Reply:IMO... romantic, but a waste of money... buy me something else that I love... a CD by my fave band, etc.
Reply:I totally dig it!! Flowers let a girl know that you are thinking about her and wanted to do something nice to make her feel good. I don't think they are over rated at all!

What goes through my head when I get flowers? I get excited because I know that the guy likes me-plus it gives me a reason to call him. Positive results all the way around!
Reply:I like flowers no matter where u send them it shows thet you care keep up the good work. smile
Reply:I think that any girl loves receiving flowers, but do something unique - no roses, use tulips or gerbia daisys - never use carnations.

However, if you really want to impress the girl, give her something that reminds her of your first date - whether it's a book or cd you discussed that she doesn't have - something unique will always win her over.
