Is it appropriate to give mother-in-law-TO-BE flowers for mothers day?

We will be married in September. I currently live with my future in-laws in Cincinnati, while my fiance works in New York City. Is it appropriate to send her flowers at work from me? Is it okay to send them from both my fiance and myself?

Since you live with them, I think it would be a very nice idea.

You can sign them from you and your fiance (since as a guy, he won't get anything).

If you are living with them they are obviously happy you two are getting married. I think MIL will like it that you already feel close enough to her to give her a gift.
Reply:i don't know why you would send just from you.. tha'ts kind of selfish of you. you are going to be married soon, so get used to everything being from you and your hubby, not just you.
Reply:I think it's definitely okay! If I were you, I would talk to my fiance first though. He might have some suggestions as to what kind of flower and he might have his own ideas! :)
Reply:Of course! That is a lovely idea, especially since you live with your in-laws. I think she would appreciate that very much.
Reply:Flowers never hurt. Just check with your BF to make sure he is okay with it and you are not up-staging him (e.g. he sends tulips, you send red roses).
Reply:Sure. But personally, I would let fiance buy his own gift, since it is his mother.
Reply:I think it's a great idea!
Reply:Of course. I'm sure she'd be touched.
Reply:I'm sure she'll love it.
