Send flowers?
I'm no expert, but it kinda depends on what the two of you like.
Some women like flowers, some could care less.
Some like the thought of their man buying something expensive for them others would rather have wild flowers picked by them and no spending of money. (Like you could find wild flowers this time of year).
Some like cards, some like letters. Some like candy - some don't.
Part of giving a gift is in knowing that it is something the person will appreciate - or at least will appreciate the thought of.
Whether you send flowers or not may depend on how far apart you guys live and how often you get to see each other. Or it could depend on whether you consider the delivery of the flowers as part of a pleasant surprise.
So.... I know that's not much help, but the answer really is:
Anything you do because you care is special and perfectly OK.
