my friend's dad died about 6 weeks ago. I didn't send flowers because I was late in hearing about his death. They didn't have a lot of money. I want to send them a card and put $$ in it. What can I write?

I wouldn't mention anything about the money. Just put it in the card. They'll know you love them and are trying to help.
